Lavendar Martinis and green lights...

Girls Night Out was a success once again. We met a Shuga's and had Lavendar Martini's. We also had a mixed meat and cheese appetizer with olives, spiced chashews, and sun dried tomato pesto, brie, salami and procuitto and carrots and celery for me and bread for the others. The pesto was delish. We laughed and talked and teased each other mercilessly. Great fun. On the way home I took Webber Street up and all the way up were green lights quite the sight to me. I wish I had my camera to take a picture. I was very pleased with my evening and had a feeling of peace.

N/C two step...

Learned some fancy moves with the N/C two step Wed night. I don't think I can remember them now. It certainly was fun while I was learning the moves. I'm going to have to write it down.

My new favorite dance...& a Pagan concert.

Is the West-Coast swing. Its the most difficult dance I've learned so far. It goes with all kinds of music and its very sexy if you want it to be. Lots of fun.

walk, walk, triple step (in place), one step back (the full length of the two taken forward), triple step. done on a six count.

I now know the following dances: waltz, rumba, salsa, jitterbug, hustle, night club 2 step, foxtrot, cha cha, tango, bolero and now west-coast swing. 11 dances. Such fun.

Went to a pagan concert Saturday night. It was fun. It reminded me of Irish music. and then the fire dance. a 10 year old girl had a part in the fire dance. Yikes. It was facinating.
SJ Tucker was the woman singing. She was very good. She had lots of funny songs, sad songs, baudy songs and the list goes on. and then she came out and worked with the fire too.

DD came home...and I'm in a bad mood...

Well, DD finally came home from her Christmas break with Dad and his in-laws. I was happy to see her and she me. And then reality kicked in and we weren't so happy anymore. ha

A long time ago I read an article about kids with divorced parents and how each time they went away there was a period of getting used to each other again. Its about 3 days. I certainly do believe it. I can't wait for her to move out. Don't get me wrong, I do love her a lot and she is my whole world, I will be happy for her to move forward in her life (real happy).

So the reintegration period begins, wish me luck.
