....and then something wears out and you get to fix it. ugh
What you ask did I have to DIY today??? a toilet valve. double ugh.
I was informed awhile back that these valves usually only last about 5 years and is a necessary evil about every 5 years. The last time this had to be done was about... you guessed it, 5 years ago.
Fortunately for me a toilet valve really is super easy to change out. The hardest thing was moving things out of the way and then moving things back. And reading the directions of course. I re-read them twice. Glad I did too.
I used the quick and easy Hydro-clean valve that I purchased for $14.99 from Ace. It's the place for me anyway (I had a coupon).
The scariest thing was turning off the main water to the house in winter, since the water valve to the toilet won't turn all the way off. I didn't want to do this and went both ways on whether or not to do this but in my reading on-line one person stated it only takes 30 minutes. I thought ok, I'll do it. It hasn't been that cold and it's currently not cold so everything should be ok. Plus ever since I learned that the water valve to the house is under 10 thousand PSI and it's dangerous to open and close this valve I've been a scardy-cat about the main water valve. But as long as you turn it real slow it should be ok. Key word is should in that sentence (oh, and slow).
Anywho, it only took 15 minutes from the time the main water valve was turned off until I slowly turned it back on again. Yay me!
The biggest pain was the clean up, because there is some as the toilet tank does not completely empty all the way but having a big thick towel ready for when you remove the old valve and then all the water really does empty all the way out. Insert the new toilet valve made certain the toilet valve was tight but not too tight as to break it, which would be sad but can happen too--at least that's what the directions state, and no leaks checked with extra water in a bucket kept handy just for this--you only need a little bit, before turning the main water back on took very little time---15 minutes. yay again!
So this old lady is once again a happy camper (and toilet user), and happy that my DIY project worked out for me and was not the disaster I envisioned. Thank you Hydro Clean for making a decent product. Quick, easy, no mess---four of my favorite words when attempting a DIY project.
Happy DIY-ing,
Good day,
L
PS - I was not paid to endorse the above product, I just like it.

dear friend,
Life has certainly been strange lately. More than I care to experience here actually.
It's winter here in the Rockies, which means it is very cold in the mornings. The thing about this as a long-time co-worker passed away yesterday morning due to freezing to death after sliding the vehicle off the road and trying to walk home in the dark morning light, and not finding home, and got turned around and got lost in the forest.
It's sad and it's tragic. sigh.
I'll especially miss this co-worker as they were the only one who I was able to vent with about work and know that anything I said would not be repeated. I hope this person is better now wherever they may be. I will miss them.

dear friend...
I went on a hike this past Saturday to an open space that is not currently open as the "master plan" has not been created. So I went with 14 others on a guided hike. The guide was pleasant and informative. My fellow hikers on the other hand need to learn first that "bushwacking" means NO TRAIL. 2nd that it means lots of untamed weeds.
The pre-request was that NO SHORTS OR CAPRIS only LONG PANTS are acceptable. What does someone do but show up in capris. REALLY??? and then what does CAPRI PANTS do? They want to be first in line during the hike.
Remember the word bushwack??? what do you think this means?
Well, I'll tell ya, since there are no trails there are A LOT OF SPIKEY WEEDS!!! and CAPRI PANTS is dancing around and stomping down weeds so they don't hurt the legs. SERIOUSLY????
GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE!!!
but no, CAPRI PANTS insisted on staying up front. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
the audacity of some people just makes my teeth grind.
I was able to get by CAPRI PANTS and another fellow slow hiker as we were not keeping up with the guide and "show" them how you are supposed to bushwack, which is just walking through the weeds.
The guide's pace was not that fast and I was happy watching the others teeth grind while waiting for the rest after the guide and I hiked for a bit. Even the guide made a quiet side comment regarding CAPRI PANTS. I did get to speak with the guide more as the others had to deal with the slow pace.
And then enter the fellow SHORT TERM MEMORY hiker. OH GOD!
I kid you not the following conversation truly existed (insert more teeth grinding here):
"this is a juniper tree."... "what tree is that?"
"juniper"..."what tree is that?"
"juniper"..."what tree is that?" "juniper"
"Is that a juniper tree?"..."yes."
and then there was...
"this bush is called rabbit brush.".... "what bush is that?"
"rabbit brush."..."really? what bush is that?"
"rabbit brush."
"what bush is that?"..."rabbit brush."
"oh, boy, I tell ya, my memory just isn't what it used to be..."
OH BOY, NO KIDDING!!!! We all know that!
Anyhow, the hike was in Corral Bluffs Open Space, and that is corral not coral because the natural arroyos were used to corral 10 million Texas long horns over the years and this was the over night stopping area for the cattle. It has a 400 foot gain in elevation in just a matter of feet which is a lot, so it made natural areas to keep the cattle and not lose them and having a natural spring right there was also a plus.
This area is one of the best areas for petrified animals and plants. We of course were not allowed to pick up or take anything---and what does CAPRI PANTS do but PICK SOMETHING UP!!! REALLY???? DO YOU HAVE A LICENSE TO DO THAT???
Seriously, unless you have a license to pick things up you must LEAVE IT WHERE IT LAY. I kid you not.
It will be sad when others start coming and taking things they shouldn't but until that time it is a spectacular area!
As for existing next to my fellow hikers (insert teeth grinding) I don't think its a surprise to anyone that I felt they were unpleasant to be around and my own company is preferable. sigh. Does this mean I'm still a loser???
Can't say I didn't make an effort. Send me all the news.
Love always,
L

dear friend...
As mentioned before I've been taking an art class. Specifically, drawing. It was a good review as I also mentioned previously I had some really good art instructors while attending public school. This child was not left behind in that subject. Thank you Principals for hiring and keeping the right teachers.
And now to tell the tell...of my "favorite" student...
-said student would always show up 20 minutes late.
-said student would always be in their pajamas (pajama pants should be illegal in public--especially pink ones), and looking like they had just gotten up 10 minutes ago.
-said student refused to acquire any of the drawing items listed on the class supplies list, to include but not limited to: pencils, erasers, and even drawing paper!!! Say What???
Yep, I kid you not, even the drawing paper!!!
What did said student use you might ask? I premise this beforehand with "I kid you not!!!"
Said student recycled copy paper that had typing on the other side. Damn, I give said student one hell-uva lot of innovation on that one!
I would never have thought of that nor had the balls to do that.
Let me describe it: Said student took about 20 used pages and stapled them together and drew on the un-used side. and then probably found the pencil on the grounds of a school they were walking by....kidding, I'm the one that did the pencil thing.
-any way I had the fortune to be the one said student chose to sit by for EACH CLASS! SHIII-IT!!
I swear I tried to take up the whole table each class to discourage any contact with anyone!
Let alone SAID STUDENT!
-said student would slink in and curl up real small and sit and quietly draw with the already used paper. Causing sympathy and sadness wherever they went (in class----except for me). Turns out said student is not broke - just cheap (I knew it!).
Ok so this goes on for two classes and my teeth are on edge and grinding.
The third class is up and coming.
Said Student is obviously invincible and fearless. As the one thing I am told that I do inspire is FEAR, and lots of it! Yay me!!! (oops- I didn't mean that). I don't do it on purpose (ok maybe sometimes but not on a lot of times--I swears it!). Really, I'm just drawn that way.
All right back to the teeth grinding... I am all day thinking, thinking, thinking.
Cool aloof is not working with said student. This is the 3rd class. Just make it through I tell myself. Besides said student is one of the best artists in class. Their drawings just hop with life! I kid you not!
I know... I need to "kill it with kindness" so to speak. Yep, there's my answer.
But I'm old now, in the winter of my life, and don't even know if I remember how to be kind. Sheesh, this is more difficult than I thought. All that thinking and my head hurts now.
I really do admire how this person draws. Their drawings have life and look alive and I want my drawings to look alive too. Not like theirs, just alive. I'll concentrate on this one positive aspect and if there is an opportunity to do so I'll mention the one thing I admire most about said student to said student.
Ok enter stage right - 3rd class.
-said student is ironically on time and actually wearing street clothing and not the PJs as before and said student also looks like they've been up all day too. WOW! what a change.
-I get the opportunity to inform said student how I admire their drawing and how everything they draw looks alive!
Turns out this "opportunity" turned into what I label a "love fest" where everyone started telling everyone else what they admire in the other persons artwork. It became a little much over time (and caused more teeth grinding for me after awhile).
But the opportunity taken did turn things around and the 4th class went well. Said student is awake and dressed again for this class too. And talkative wherein I learned much more about said student than I ever wanted or needed. No more teeth grinding (at least not much anyway). Said student became so talkative after the positive 3rd class the instructor had to remind said student this class that talking interferes with the right side of the brain, which is what we were trying to access while drawing. ie: BE QUIET!
All in all a good class. Mostly review for me, which was a huge surprise.
Learned to be somewhat kind and not kill it.
My drawing are a little more alive and not so sterile.
Anyway, send me all the news.
Love Always,
L

dear friend...
I don't know if I should mention it or not but I'm taking an art class. Drawing.
The name of the class is Learn to Draw in 4 Weeks. This art teacher also has Learn to Draw in 4 Days class too. I cannot imagine trying to do this class in 4 days. There is so much to do and this class gives me a migraine each time I leave it, which means I'm accessing my right side of my brain. Yay me!
Sadly, I've only just done review as I had some terrific art instructors while in school. I guess I was lucky or unlucky depending on how you view it. Glass half empty or full...
Rocky Thomas in Junior High and in high school Mr. Tungson. They were wicked cool. The only thing new I've learned so far is that doodling is now called Zentangles. sheesh. can't we just call doodling what it is instead having to invent a new word to keep people interested??? Whev (whatever). Oh look! I just did it too!!!
The review (art class that I paid a whole bunch of mula for) has been interesting as well as viewing the art of the other students. I've pretty much alienated everyone in this group too by being obnoxiously precise. In the last class I caught the instructor "cheating."
How do you catch your instructor cheating you might ask? Well...says I...
the instructor was supposedly showing us blind contour while looking at the paper and the object being drawn. With blind contour you are not allowed to look at the paper while drawing the object. The instructor was stating how well the drawing was going and I mentioned "well yeah, you're looking at both, what's up with that???"
the instructor thought this was funny and laughed at how they were cheating and not showing us blind contour at all. It was pretty funny. The other students didn't think so, they have no sense of humor. Or at least not at the end of a very long day anyway.
Anyway will save my "favorite student" story for another time (can't wait to share that one---Hopefully I can share in positive funny way instead of bitchy, complaining way).
Send me all the news.

dear friend...
I haven't written in awhile. I'm trying not to be a loser or one of "those" sad stories you hear about and cringe being or becoming.
I went to a get together held for the volunteers for a non-profit garden that I volunteer at.
The stories of flat tires came up and I told my story too. Nothing like having your 15 minutes of fame, no mater the place you be.
I then told my story about being on the farm and one of our dingo dogs killing a raccoon in water, which is virtually unheard of since raccoons usually drown the dog. One of the other volunteers didn't believe me and asked if I was actually there when it happened. Sheesh. Yes, I was there.
I guess the flat tire story and the raccoon story seem a bit far fetched when its coming from the same person. They be true.
I didn't finish the story, which was with Mr. X pulling the dead raccoon from the water and the dingo killing it over and over again. Mr. X thought this was funny. I guess it is "farmer" funny. He didn't think it was so funny when he thought his dog was being drowned. Just so you know, the dog's name was Dino and Mr. X could write a book about him. This dog was truly amazing.
The flat tire story is me having to fix a flat tire on my car everyday for a week as Mr. X put "new to me" tires on the vehicles I was driving. This was so not funny, but I do know how to change a flat on almost any type of vehicle. The background story to this is we had lots of vehicle choices to drive and when one got a flat, Mr. X would just give me the next car in line to drive. I got tired of the "new to me" tires and finally took one of the vehicles in and placed all new tires on it. I never had a flat again while married to him.
Oh, forgot that I told the story that my life was very similar to the girl in the movie "Where the Heart Is" in that I got pulled over and the sheriff felt so sorry for me and I had so many infractions with the car including a hole on the driver's side floor board that he let me go.
These stories must have irritated this guy because he totally didn't believe me and was all over my case after telling them that I soon left.
Not certain if I'm still a loser or just a sad story but I did get to attend a get-together, at least for a little while...
don't know if I'll be invited back...
Love always,
L

dear friend...
I recently ran into an acquaintance and we "caught up" so to speak regarding what each of us had been up to, etc, etc, blah blah blah. I won't bore you with the details.
Although,
I am confused as this acquaintance went on about how they had been sexually harassed at work and how they took it to HR and HR did nothing and how awful it was. Yes, its awful... My confusion stems from the "pre-story" as this is the same acquaintance that used to brag about not going more than two days without sex since the divorce. Yikes! that's a lot of partners. yuck!
And what comes first to mind is exactly how does one do this (not the act) the culling of partners? Well, that culling will happenstance come from work, at times.
All right, the "never shit where you eat" saying comes first in my mind at this point.
This acquaintance had no issue with it nor with the issue that some of the partners were married. Which is "safe". No commitment or clinging to deal with. No emotional attachment. No baggage, supposedly.
Ok back to the complaint. When you create the monster why are you complaining??? Doesn't this acquaintance have some responsibility in creating their own harassment? I believe this constitutes as the "baggage" referred to above. tada! I guess HR saw it that way too. yay!
I guess my less than enthusiastic responses are why I have very little friends as I expect people to be responsible to some extent for their actions and this will include prior actions too.
Moral of my story is: Watch where you cull. or the "don't shit where you eat" saying applies too.
Anyway, send me all the news.
Love always,
L

dear friend...
Hello,
It's me again.
Just wanted to say that I got invited to a party! Yes, me! Even invisible me gets to go to a party once in awhile.
I was invited a week ago and wasn't certain if I would go as people make me nervous. I left it open, so to speak and if I remembered to go great and if I conveniently forgot, well, even better. And you also have those dreaded awkward moments that you hope never happens to you and if they do you know you won't be invited back.
Case in point: the spittle moment-totally embarrassing and gross; or the saying something stupid moment; the laughing at something inappropriate moment or at the wrong moment; the picking an argumentative discussion with the most favored person at the party moment and even if you are right you made no friends by making the popular person look stupid
So I did remember to go, spoke as little as possible, and I even brought presents. I still had a woven towel so I used the tan towel to wrap a couple of bottles of balsamic vinegar and complimentary oil and a wine bottle stopper that I made with a cork from a favorite bottle of wine that my cousin owns the vineyard and winery; and a half dozen eggs from my chickens. I thought it a coolio gift and maybe a little much with all of it but it may secure a future invite.
I didn't expect to stay long as it was scuba diving happy hour meeting and I don't dive. My friend told me it was about 50/50 of people who dive or don't. I'd say it was 50:1 with me being the one that doesn't.
Anyway, the evening went swell (I just love that word-it implies greatness but not over the top greatness). I enjoyed my evening. No spittle, nothing stupid stated and no unpleasant discussions, no inappropriate laughter, and I got to get a little mileage (bragging rights) with my trips to Hawaii and Spain, which helped to establish me a little more as "one of them that travels" instead of just "one of those that doesn't." I stayed longer than expected and got to leave at an appropriate time, which was soon after arrival.
I had a swell time.
Toodles for now, send me all the news.
Love always,
L

Love always,
L

Stalled no longer...and George is happy...
Yay! weaving continues with George. This is a diaper twill (aka false Damask) variation. Its turning out more like a radio wave look than the look I had in my head. Oh, well. Some days I like it. Some days it's just ok.

now if I can just get the 2x2 hem done on 504 ends I'll be back to weaving.
Happy weaving, ya'll!

Knitting...
dear friend...
I know you are out there somewhere but sometimes you are so quiet.
For most of my life I've been one of those invisible type persons. You know the type. The one without many friends (if any). The one that laughs when its inappropriate to do so. The one that others roll their eyes at because they think (know) I'm an idiot. The one that everyone really laughs AT not with. The one that says what's in their mind when they shouldn't.
I was told once by someone that they always knew what I was thinking because whatever it was that was on my mind was out my mouth the next second. She told me it was refreshing. Ironically, I have a hard time believing that because she doesn't stay in contact. "Refreshing" must have gotten not so refreshing after all.
Now where was I going with this post?
Oh yeah...
Dear Friend,
Sometimes I'm hot and cold at the same time and I wonder how that can be? But since I'm a woman over well...let's just say older...maybe that is more understandable than I realize.
Anyway, hope things are going well for you. Send me all the news.
Take care.
Love always,

knitting
oh yeah. I love a swatch that is useful in another way. Especially since I don't swatch. I know I know, I hear all those internal gasps going off. Or I would if anyone ever read my blog (snort).
a swatch that has captured my heart because its a hat too! very convenient and not a waste of time.
I present to you the GGN Gauge Hat:

GGN=Global Gathering Norway
so I can work on this with my mind at ease that I too for once have a swatch:
GGN Norwegian ski sweater:

Its really turning out lovely.
Happy colourwork knitting!

Psalm 143:1-12, Proverbs 17:26
I had a feeling of desperation today. So I begged for help and opened the daily reading to this passage. Ironic, that its exactly how I feel.
Psalm 143
A psalm of David.
1 Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
like those long dead.
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.[a]
7 Answer me quickly, Lord;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.
11 For your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life;
in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
12 In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
destroy all my foes,
for I am your servant.
and
Proverbs 17:26 - It is not good to punish an innocent man, or to flog officials for their integrity.
Grace to you, good day.

I'm stalled...
and it's making me cranky.
George is patiently waiting to be threaded with diaper twill and then sleyed and then we can put the move on for a whole lotta twill weaving being done.
This is George's back beam. I really gotta get moving on this. sigh.

Interesting thing about diaper twill is that it was the threading that was used mostly to make...you guessed it, cloth diapers for babies. At least that's my understanding where it came from. At least in the reading I've done. But then again you can't trust everything you read now can you. take it with a grain of salt.

and look what George did...
Wedge Weave...
Wedge Weaving is a lost art and is now experiencing a renaissance of sorts.
I found it through an indigenous weaving group online.
and then did some additional research and found this .pdf by Connie Lippert. It is and has been for me one the most informative articles written about wedge weave. Joanne Materra also has a small written section in her book about it (love this book - but price gougers currently have an upper hand regarding the resale of this book). Caroline Spurgeon has a written section in her book too--I like her book too but for other reasons.
Gladys Reichard also has written about wavy lines. Her book is an interesting account written in 1933 about her time spent the 3 previous years with the Red Point Family. Its not really an instructional book more historical description so as not to loose the Navajo Way of weaving.
Back to Wedge Weave...
one interesting aspect regarding wedge weave is the reason it has mostly fell from popularity or more correctly it was never popular in the first place to purchase, is the edges naturally scallop. The preference is for straight edges and wedge weave does not for most weavers provide a straight edge. Scallops are what you get.
Here's my current wedge weave project:

I was moving right along very happy, and now it looks as though a drunken sailor got ahold of it. sigh.
My weaving always seems to take on a life of its own. I will keep it and move forward.
Lesson learned and will keep as a reminder to me of what not to do.
Good day to you,
and may Spider Woman inspire you.
thank you Dictionary.com for the definition. I just love defining words.

Weaving - twill
Weaving is tricky. Especially twills. Lovely is the final product after wet finishing.
See
lovely lovely twills. first lavender-like colour is mostly herringbone with a bit of gooseye at the ends. Brown-all herringbone. yellow - all gooseye.
Ok, so what's tricky about twills??? well its the beat. If you beat it too hard then you might lose the pattern. See that word "might" in the last sentence? That's what makes it tricky. Also with twills you should always have a perfect 45% angle for it to truly look the way its supposed to look. You may think that obtaining a 45% angle is easy, its not. take a look at those towels -they're not.
If you look at the yellow dishtowel, I beat it a little too hard and after washing lost my gooseye pattern. So all that work, and now you can barely see the pattern, sigh.
For the brown - it turned out lovely. Beat - not too hard, not too light, might was just right.
For the lavender - my tension issues started to show. Which means I actually had tension issues for all the towels but didn't notice till the end. tension is important. Tension is your foundation for obtaining a good end product. Wet finishing (washing - either by hand or machine) brings it (it=all your work prior to this), together. Despite the little said here about wet-finishing, its important.
With all the critique, I am happy with the towels and the brown is gifted and gone.
Happy crafting, Good day.

and this is the big old long post I had for the last post but....
I hate it when writers can't cut it out... even if it is good. I thought it was best on its own at first.
And now for my commentary:
"Blessed is the nation whose God is lord"- Psalm 33:12
This one statement is my belief as to why our great nation has HAD the prosperity it has. And for those of you who don't know your history, USA was founded by (or settled additionally) as there were already indigenous peoples living here, by those that were persecuted by their faith.
So what is interesting is that the immigrants lived by socialism and almost starved to death. Hence, the first Thanksgiving is because there were those that were lazy and wouldn't do the work and still got to receive the same portions as those that did. So, those that did quit doing too. Things had to change, and it finally came down to, if you don't work you don't get to eat, and things eventually turned around for the most part. You still have those that won't work, who can.
Back to the Thanksgiving part is the indigenous peoples took pity on the starving immigrants and helped them out (boy, I bet they're sorry they did that).
Good day.

Statements...
people say...
"God never gives you more than you can handle"
That's a load of bunk!!! and if you believe it, again, I have more ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
My thought is, if you don't ever have hard times why would you need God??? You wouldn't.
And for those of you that say the statement, I know that you have never read your bible all the way through as the one thing it does promise is hard times. Please read Romans if you don't think so. Please look at the lives of the disciples after Christ is brutalized and murdered. Actually, just read the bible and you will know.
And of course, there are those that even if you have hard times you don't need God.
-------------------------------
or, how about this one???...
"It is what it is"
Well of course it is!!! We can all see that!!! ugh.
Or this...
"no problem"
If someone says that to you, this means that they actually thought it was a problem, are informing you that it was, and making this suttle statement to you that it WAS A PROBLEM TO THEM.

Books - The Forgotton by David Baldacci
David Baldacci is one of my very favorite authors. At one point I had read all of his books and had to find someone else to read as he just couldn't out put enough for me. Wow, am I high maintenance or what???
Now it looks like there are about four of his books that I haven't read. The Forgotton was one of them. It was so good I finished it in two days. Needless to say it was well-written and no unecessary sentences. I hate it when authors can't wittle their work down because they have written a great thought. Anyhoo---this book is about modern-day slavery and if you believe it doesn't exist, I have some ocean front property to sell you.
I found it interesting that old well rigs in the Gulf of Mexico are being used for clandestine profiteering. The criminal mind is very innovative and these types of people are very ruthless when interrupted.
The characters are believable and I enjoyed the plot. If I had one bad thing to say about the book it would be the ending. As is its highly unlikely that the bad guy ended up in a prison camp in another country. People like that get away with the stuff that this guy did all the time. Why else would they do it??
Anyway the story makes you think about how slavery is still in existance and how we all look the other way. Check it out.
Good day to you.
Thank you DavidBaldacci for the link.
No photo as good gracious, adding photos used to be so easy now its a PITA.

ooops...Ihatewhenthathappens...
I didn't quite finish "Proverbs in a Year" last year. sigh. epic fail and "I hate when that happens"...maybe next year, oops I mean this year...
so here's my eplain: I was distracted by weaving. yep weaving. Its pretty coolio to be able to make your own fabric. And since weavers only range in the multi-thousands and not millions like spinners and knitters and, well you get the picture. My stuff ends up looking not so bad. Almost professional. ha
But, really for me, I am so enamoured that I create fabric from string. ITS So COOL. I could go on and on and on about it but I already suspect your eyes are glazing over from, well let's just say, non-enthusiasm, as it couldn't be bordom??? could it? NOT.
photo of first dish towels:
herringbone dishtowels
Aren't they pretty?? Green one is already gifted and gone. And gushing and exclamations were "it's so drapey!!" and "lovely fabric!" yep, hmmm-mmmm. I made that fabric yes I did!
I bet you want to know the pattern names of each...red is herringbone and purple and green are gooseye.
I have another set on my loom too. yellow, brown and violet. Yay me!
Distracted I tell ya, perhaps we can do some weaving projects in a year???
