5 days...

The past 5 days have been in a word a...whirlwind. I won't go into too much detail as I am still reeling from it. Thanksgiving went well. Friday I was able to finish the insulation with a little help from a surprising resource. Friday night hockey and free seats given to us while standing in line. Right on the ice too. Amazing kindness. I plan to pass it on. Saturday golf and I shot a cool 97 on 18 holes my average is usually a 106. US Women's Open here I come as an amateur if I can keep that up. Sunday knitting and painful realizations regarding myself, my character and the painful improvements I that I so desperately need to make.

Deep breath.

Process Service...v2...disinterested party...

Turns out its all very interesting. The wording "disinterested party" is no longer part of the wording in the rules, which is why my belief that I correctly served Mr.X, twice now, is spot on. I actually taught the attorney I consulted something today. He was amused. Although he did go on to say he would never have people he knows serve paperwork for the very reason that it can possibly be questioned. The only reason I did was because Mr. X was leaving the state both times the very next morning. I mean, gosh, what am I supposed to do? The second time was best as it was smack dab in front of his attorney.

I also don't have to provide the process server information to opposing counsel unless ordered by the magistrate to do so, which I wasn't so I won't. Although if asked, I must provide it.

Process service:
1. person must be 18 or older
2. serve a copy of the documents
3. sign a return of service, in front of a notary, stating time and date and location where documents are served.
and last but most important:
4. not a party to the action.

There is nothing about being a "disinterested party" in the rules anymore.

Why do people Lie?

Because they are scared.
Because they can.
Because they are stupid.
Because they are mean. (Mr. X)

There are a million reasons why people lie.

Sometimes you can tell a lie that becomes so big that it changes your life when you really didn't mean for it to do this and then what do you do?

Keep telling more lies? I guess only you can decide.
It really is less of a hassle to just be honest no matter how difficult. I don't believe anyone really believes that though, because otherwise we wouldn't lie now would we? What's your reasoning to lie?

Friday night concert...

In a word can you say REFUND!!!

Dark, Dreary, Boring, Pathetic, Tragic, Horrible are more words to describe the totally mislead generation that I witnessed at the concert that night. Mostly 20s and early 30s group as no one else would be complacent enough to fall for such dreariness.

Earlier I had read that this was a concert not to be missed. That Lizzy Huffman and Will Whitemore were worth seeing if they were ever in your town. That the music would be "old country." Boy, the write-up could not have been more wrong.

Did I see talent? Yes. Was it put to its best use that night? No. These musicians would have been better off using their instruments for a neighborhood bonfire than the music they created that night.

Inaia Lujan was the only light at the end of the tunnel and he went on first. It went downhill from there with no lights in sight.

Lizzy Huffman most certainly could and should have picked the beat up to save her audience the anguish of listening to her sad, "poor me, poor me,poor attitude" lyrics. You can get away with such C**P if you pick the beat up.

I can't even recall the name of the next group. Their music was the darkest and dreariest of all. I have never seen a steel guitar used (which I dearly love) --ahem ---abused, and put to such ill. Its too bad that these talented musicians only wanted to talk about how dreary and bored with life they are. At one point another gentleman came up on stage and things picked up slightly. It reminded me a little bit of "O Brother, Where Art Thou" and that's being generous.

Will Whitemore was a sad drunken excuse of a man that could barely walk let alone sing and play an instrument as he was so absolutely positively drunk that he was just a big case of pathetic, just short of tragic. At one point I thought he would pass out before finishing the song. He then became a very "chatty Cathy" (sorry Cathy) between songs and could not put a coherent sentence together let alone speak without slurring. Some people tend to get chatty when drunk and this man certainly did. It's too bad he didn't realize that he was better off playing his instrument--barely. Did I see he may have talent--possibly. It's just a sham--I mean shame, it wasn't present that night.

As for the type of music being played the individual who did the write-up in the first place needs to learn what "old country" is because this certainly was not what it was. Maybe "old world?," "Old World New-Age??" Although I have no idea what music Europe is listening to but if this is it then no wonder they are having the troubles they have currently. I would consider it to be new-age dreary, depressing folk and that's a stretch giving it the "folk" title. If you weren't depressed before you went you certainly were afterward.

small steps...

I ran into HWSNBN on Friday night before going to a concert. It was very difficult to see him. It was helpful since we will have to get together in the near future regarding his testimony. I thought at one point I might pass out and had to keep reminding myself to keep breathing. I didn't stay long at the place as I was there to pick up my best friend and that's where she happened to be. I have never seen him looking so haggard and sad. It was very disconcerting...or maybe it was just my imagination since I couldn't breath very well.

Small steps are very helpful.

Process Service...

HWSNBN returned my call. The call did not go as well as expected. I haven't slept for at least 2 days and really had a difficult time putting together a coherent sentence that even I could understand. We hung up and I called mom. This helped me to put together my thoughts and I got the sinking feeling that I needed to call HWSNBN again. yes,no,yes,no---went my head.

I did end up calling HWSNBN again and the 2nd call went much better. I was able to explain my dilemma and sound semi-coherent and inform him that he is now the star witness in this soap opera court drama. He wasn't happy to find this out. He then informed me that the lovely court appointed attorney asked my child to obtain his contact information and give it to her (the attorney). This is very inappropriate behavior and highly unethical. The attorney is to contact me for the information not the child of the parties.

This attorney just placed my child in the middle of this case and discussed the case and the continued hearing in front of her and asked her to obtain information that can and should be obtained from me. A huge deal was just made in court of how the child of the parties is to NOT be placed in the middle of the case or discuss the case in front of her and then this happens.

People are fallible, especially attorneys. But they can always apologize for this behavior later(and still get away with it and still keep doing it).

This always happens and is exactly why I requested that our child be present at all hearings. To alleviate this problem. Plus it actually ends any mental anguish for the child, which the court inadvertently inflicts with this policy, because nothing is hidden or kept secret and the child knows exactly what happened.

You can also speak about what happened at the hearing in front of the child because the child wasn't kept separate. When you do keep the child separate you must immediately stop talking about the case in front of the child when the child walks into the room and when they are with you. How do you feel when someone is talking along and then immediately stops when you walk into the room? You feel as though you did something wrong; that you broke the law, in a word you feel like a criminal. You also feel that secrets are being kept from you and any normal person wants to know immediately what those secrets are or at the very least it makes you even more curious about what happened.

When you allow children in the courtroom it takes all the secrecy away and all the curiosity out of it and makes it no big deal. When you hide and exclude this makes it become a big deal and more than it really is and also causes mental anguish.

end rant.

(oh yeah) reminder of main point: the attorney and the respondent's behavior is/was totally inappropriate, highly unethical and totally, totally unacceptable, which has now caused a great deal of mental anguish for my child.

Note: I did speak with my child and informed her she is not to get into the middle of this, that they can get any information from me not her, and that was all I said.

Girls Night Out...

is just what the Magistrate ordered. ha Or certainly would have had she known the extent of my dilemma I now seem to be in.

It was fun meeting up with T and K at MacKenzie's Pub and out the window went my deal with myself to not drink alcohol for a year. It seemed that after that morning in court, two Lemon Drop martini's (over a 3 hour time period) jumped from the menu and were on my order and an artichoke dip with veggies to eat since the only thing I had eaten all day was a hard boiled egg and a glass a juice just before court.

It was certainly a grand time and I hope we do it again next month sans court. But of course I have court next month so it's looking like this might be on my calendar as well.

I don't know if I will need him (will have to do research) but just in case, I did call HWSNBN to let him know that I had a slight problem with the service and need to speak with him about it. The two martini's helped with the call and I had to leave a message so I left out the part where he is to be the star of the court drama for the next hearing. oh, boy.
(I know you're laughing inside--I just know it) It is ironic.
IRONY you heartless bitch!!!

Court today and...

NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! Other than Mr. X certainly likes to go to court a lot. Such a big waste of his time. I feel as though I was side swiped, hit, and ran over by a Mack Truck. Mr. X is claiming that he was not served correctly. That he received the Order but no Verified Motion. He's lying! or in the alternative lost the paperwork, which certainly is not my responsibility but becomes mine when he makes such a claim. I wonder when he will get tired of shoving his responsibility for himself onto others? I certainly am tired of it being mine. I truly wonder when his In-laws will get tired of supporting him.

And guess who I had serve him?? Yes, the infamous "he who shall not be named" --- the recent ex-boyfriend. And therin lies the problem of having current boyfriends serve ex-husbands, my pretties, as they may someday become an ex too. (I know your are laughing at this point aren't you??? aren't you???)---well, me too. Because it's HILARIOUS!! I think this is called a paradigm? paradox? oxymoron??? something.

OMG!!! are there cameras somewhere?? Am I in a soap opera and don't know it??? This only happens on TV, right??? RIGHT????

So in court the Magistrate asks me if I can call the person who did the service because the case will now have to be set for a hearing for testimony regarding the paperwork that was served and that person has to personally come in and state what was the paperwork. AACCK!! Of course says I but I do not have my cell phone and I don't know the number. As the number is in my cell phone. The Magistrate went ahead and set it for another hearing in December with the hopes that "he who shall not be named"(HWSNBN) can attend. Oh boy, more court and I get to call HWSNBN and see if he can help me out. CRIPES!!! Are you sure there are no cameras??? SOMEWHERE???

End court appearance---stage left.

Ahh, deep breath, deep breath. think, think, think. All is not lost my pretties, as the claim is that service is incorrect and this is why Respondents (defendants, offenders, criminals), high-tail it out of court when making such a claim because usually a person has another copy of everything and they are served again right there on the spot.

think, think, think. I go through my paperwork downstairs and find an extra copy of my Verified Motion (from my days of being in the legal field I always made an extra copy of the paperwork just for this very reason). I do not have an extra copy of the Order but I happily gave up mine and promptly realized that my dear mother could properly serve Mr. X there and then. I asked an attorney standing next to us to verify my suspicions even tho she is related to me and he replied as long as she is not a party to the case, yes.

Mom, being a trooper, quickly took up my cause and we waited downstairs for them to come out as most people leave right away when making the claim they did. They did not so Mom went up and happily and properly served Mr. X.

Hurray!! We can now go to court and Dear Mom can be my witness that proper service was completed.

If they want to play dirty, dirty is what it will be. and now for my next item (smiles me secretly) more on that later, my pretties...

Court... Nov 16...10:30am.

Had to meet with Mr. X and his court appointed attorney last Thursday to decide if an agreement could be made regarding the money he owes me for minor child expenses. His attorney asked if I would be willing to take less money, which I have previously done and refuse to do anymore. The gall of some people. It's really disgusting how Mr. X can sit there claiming "Christianity" and then on purpose not hold a job so he doesn't have to pay as much child support or expenses. Actions like his really cause people to become atheist. Although that's an oxymoron in itself too. If you don't believe in God, aren't you acknowledging there is one by claiming to NOT believe? Anyhoo...

His excuse is that I ruined his chance to sell the farm we owned jointly and he feels righteous about not paying his obligation since I ruined his chance to make money, which is totally ridiculous. All he had to do was a $15 title search and and would have found the lien I placed on it, but instead he spent the $10,000 down payment which should have went into escrow until the property closed. Geez the absolute nerve and irresponsibility of some people.

I have worked two jobs in the past, why can't he?

He is so gross and disgusting. It is amazing to me that DD is ok with his actions and his current in-laws love him. Its just disgusting. Mr. X lives off of the money of his in-laws, who have lots of money (but not for long with a son-in-law like him), and it just amazes me that they think so highly of such a disgusting person that uses them this way. I cannot believe they do not have a problem with it. It is what they allow. I swear there are scales over their eyes. They absolutely hate me, whom they have never met and who has never taken a cent from them (I've probably save them money), and who adore him, who has conned them out of thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars and continues to do so by deceit and manipulation. Mr. X still owes his own father, God rest his soul, over $120,000. When will someone please wake up and say NO MORE to this horrible person!!

Mr. X informed me recently in Aug. that the in-laws were more important than the person you marry. Yeah, for him it is since they obviously pay him money and/or his expenses to live that isn't traceable as income. Con artists will always be around so keep your eyes open and your pocket book closed. Just say NO and stick with it. Don't listen to them. Remember there is always some truth to a lie (con). That's what makes it believable enough to suck you in.

Sorry, I digress.

Court tomorrow. Prepared my exhibits yesterday and will finish putting together today. Wish me luck. 'Cause I'm gonna need it.

Insulation...2nd set.

I purchased my second set of insulation but I am thoroughly exhausted from the first that I was barely able to get out of bed on both Saturday or Sunday. Mom was all like, "well let's get some up there." and I was all like, "I am about to die here, thanks very much." and she was like, "what's the problem?" It is difficult for other people to understand exactly what happens to me. Even I have a hard time with it. Just cleaning my home is exhausting.

I have decided it best to take a week off from the insulation project for fear of ending up in the hospital from over exhaustion. Of course mom is all worried and now thinks that the rest should be hired done. I informed her that things just take me a little longer to do, that's all.

Instead I did laundry and ran errands this weekend, which exhausted me too. Such is life with a low thyroid.

2nd set delayed a little bit.

10, ten, diez, dix, deg, a deich, zehn... is my happy word today.

10 rolls of insulation are now complete and in the attic. I rolled the last 3 of the ten last night. Oh, what a thankless, dirty, itchy project this has been and very wearing! I think I'll sleep for a month after I'm done. Hibernation anyone?? It'll be warm enough, at least in my home anyway. I have also discovered I will need to cut soffit vents in my eaves (more on that another time) so that condensation does not build up in the attic and create mold (mold is a bad thing). I am so very pleased to have the 10 rolls done and will purchase another 10 this Saturday. By next weekend I should be snuggle-y warm as a bug at home. Hurrah!!!

Happy weekend everyone!

Holiday Ornament.

This is a quick gift to put together if you have all the supplies on hand, which I happen to have. I'll be making three. I have one done and the next one is ready to put in the ornament. It's very fiddly working with the invisible thread. The pattern is called "Knitting for the Holidays' and is free. Love, Love the free patterns, thank you.

Head Lamp is the word for today...

Last night the attic didn't look so small and climbing up to it wasn't scary anymore either. I informed my co-workers (all men) that I was working on putting insulation in my attic and not one of them offered to help. I certainly understand why after Sunday. It is such a thankless, cramped, dirty, difficult job. I did get lots of suggestions. The best so far was to get an LED head lamp. I immediately went online to check out my options. I found a really inexpensive one for $5.00 at KMART. So I headed over there at lunch since there is one about 3 blocks away from where I work. They were all gone. I purchased the next one up for about $11.00, which is what most started at and went up from there at all the stores I checked online anyway. This one has 25 lumens which is pretty good for the price. The higher the lumens the better. It worked great and I really liked using it.

Engery Star has a great website and a pdf on how to lay insulation. I read that and it helped too.

DD and mom came over to help. I got 3 more rolls completed on the insulation and 3 left to do that are already in the attic. DD helped pull the insulation up which helped me so all I had to do was concentrate on laying it. It was slow going as I had to cut it a lot to work around the ceiling lights and conduit. The next area still has lots of stuff to work around so it will be slow going too. My legs are so bruised up from the knees down it looks like I got in a fight with a midget and the midget won. I did remember to use my shin guards which helped. I am certain that by this weekend I will be so worn out that all I'll be able to do is lay in bed. And then go purchase the next round.

This project has been so worth doing. I cannot say enough regarding how much difference it has already made and I am only about one-fourth complete. I am looking forward to being done and warm for the winter.

Change...

This is what is on my heart today...

Last night as I was hand washing dishes I was listening to my Tracy Chapman album, I just love Tracy she has a great sultry voice, and this song's lyrics made me think about life. I hope you think about where you are and where you need to be and be brave enough to make the changes.

Change by Tracy Chapman

If you knew that you would die today,
Saw the face of God and love,
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that love can break your heart
When you're down so low you cannot fall
Would you change?
Would you change?

How bad, how good does it need to get?
How many losses? How much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around,
Makes you try to explain,
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change?
Makes you change?

If you knew that you would be alone,
Knowing right, being wrong,
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that you would find a truth
That brings up pain that can't be soothed
Would you change?
Would you change?

How bad, how good does it need to get?
How many losses? How much regret?
What chain reaction would cause an effect?
Makes you turn around,
Makes you try to explain,
Makes you forgive and forget,
Makes you change?
Makes you change?

Are you so upright you can't be bent?
If it comes to blows are you so sure you won't be crawling?
If not for the good, why risk falling?
Why risk falling?

If everything you think you know,
Makes your life unbearable,
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you'd broken every rule and vow,
And hard times come to bring you down,
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you knew that you would die today,
If you saw the face of God and love,
Would you change?
Would you change?
Would you change?
Would you change?

If you saw the face of God and love
If you saw the face of God and love
Would you change?
Would you change?

Insulation...R30.

What a thankless job it is to install insulation in the attic. I thought I was going to die and I'm not even close to being done. I really don't know how people do this for a living.

First the access to my attic is very tiny, and since the opening is so small (1x2--that's being generous) I have to unroll the insulation to even get it up to the attic as I do not have the upper body strength to push it through. I then have to crab walk on the 2x4s all the while pulling the insulation to one end of the attic. Second while installing I have to hold myself up on the 2x4s and lay the insulation at the same time. I was exhausted after laying 4 rolls and I figured I have approximately 31 to do. I purchased 10 rolls this go round and have 6 left to do on this first installment. Third and Fourth, I am thankful that I wore long sleeves and pants, a mask, and eye protection. These are most definitely a must as the fiberglass gets everywhere and is very itchy. Not good for lungs or skin or eyes.

Before all this, I do not have a ladder so I must use the step stool to climb onto the furnace, to ease over to my double stacked washer and dryer, push up the access board, move back over to the furnace, and gingerly pull myself up through the attic opening supporting most of my weight on my arms so I don't crush the furnace piping. Just call me Popeye when this is done.

It doesn't help to be afraid of heights nor claustrophobic. EE, gads. I'll certainly be used to those things once done with this project. I figure I will save enough money this winter to pay for the project and a tax credit ends on Dec 31 that I can apply. I can already tell a difference even with only laying 4 rolls.

I must say mom was a trooper as she helped me go get the insulation and helped with pushing it into the attic. I do appreciate her help immensely.

Ironic that after my posting about family and contact, I have had at least 4 phone calls from my mom. huh, it just goes to show you never can win.

Ya Know you just never can win with family...

Last night I got a phone call from my Aunt E. She lives in Baton Rouge. I just love speaking with her. We caught up on all the family news, which was great.

I also learned that I have a niece who is about a year old (and happens to live about a block away from me), which totally caught me by surprise. It would be nice to meet her. I immediately called my mom after hanging up with my Aunt and asked her about the situation and she was very cavalier about the whole thing. She did tell me the information that she knew and that was that.

It really gets me. My immediate family always wonders why I am the way I am with them in that I take no interest in my family and this is a prime example. Why have anything to do with them when they don't include me. I really do care but I cannot do anything about their actions to exclude me. I can't make them include me. Can you not pick up the phone and call and let me know the family news? Nope, guess not.

I have to constantly beat down the family door to be let in, so to speak, and it gets really frustrating. I am the one that calls, I am the one that is constantly harassing them to be included. This is so frustrating that at times I just give up. In ten years I can count on one hand how many times my own brother actually picked up his phone and called me. It was two times.

So I find other people and places to go. People who actually want to include me and be with me. Other people to care about. Geez, sometimes I feel like an only child who has no family. I bet you have family stuff too.

Cripes. You never can win.

Happy Faces...

As I drove into work today, I spotted two little boys walking to school. I've been watching them over the past year and when I see them I like to pay attention to what they do. Usually they are distracted by a puppy or some bug on the sidewalk. Today, the blond haired boy was showing the dark haired boy a dance step that he had learned. They were so cute and so very happy and laughing. It made me smile to see their happy faces.

I really enjoy seeing them on my way to work and if I do see them it means I am late to work or very close to it, and its worth it.

additional issue discovered...

While having a lovely dinner at the Blue Star last night, my best friend K mentioned an additional issue regarding my recently terminated relationship and I think she is spot on. She mentioned that we had been having problems for about a year and the problem was that "he who shall not be named" liked to be "mothered." This is how she saw our relationship anyway.

"and you just don't do that." she said. Yep too right, I don't!!

Light bulb turned on in my head,"BINGO!" I had always informed "he who shall not be named" that he needed someone more nurturing and he would deny it. She mentioned that he seemed to be used to being "mothered" and the people he surrounded himself with in the past would do that for him. She noticed that he seemed to be frustrated with me because I don't do that and she noticed that he actually liked to be "mothered," and that it was a shock to him to be with me because he didn't know how to take care of things that were usually taken care of by other "mothering" people.

Interesting, now that I think about it, he does have two close friends that like to "mother" him, which they seem to enjoy doing and he enjoys being on the receiving end. Too funny. Personally, it just grosses me out.

Even poor DD would always complain that she had to take care of things that her friends didn't (I think she is all the better for it). I do recall one instance where she stated that "he who shall not be named" was going to get a rude awakening one day if he didn't wake up soon. I also recall several instances of him complaining how I expect too much from him, which translated means: "I need to be mothered because I really, really, like it. Even though I deny it" "EEEWWW, GROSS!!!", says I.

This is not to say that I am not compassionate or kind. I am those things without having to "mother." It's interesting to note that when I watch people or speak with them most like to be "mothered" yet will deny it. What's with that?? Why be ashamed? Just own up to it and move forward. It really would make life easier if we're just honest with ourselves and others even if embarrassed by something we like.

I'll have to keep my eye out for this issue too and if the next gentleman likes to be "mothered" I need to move on, quickly. It makes me wonder if there are any men out there that don't need this because I see it A LOT!

Well, I'll just cross my fingers and hope.

Too Comfortable...

Today I was shopping at Wally World and noticed that ALL the self-checkout lines were gone. I asked the clerk what was up with that? She replied, "people were making themselves a little too comfortable." What a wonderful tactful way to describe stealing,""thievery,""filch,""heist,""pilfer,""pinch,""boost,""purloin,""misappropriate,""swipe."

I have also been doing a little experimentation with the clerks too. I noticed that when a grouchy person is their customer they work slower and with a pleasant person they work faster. When it's my turn I smile and take an interest in them and they seem to speed up. I usually make a comment about them and thank them for their hard work. Such a little thing and we are all the better for it. It has taken me little or no effort to be nicer and it seems to energize and please the clerk and I get to leave quicker which pleases me as I have a hard time not thinking about all the germs that may be attaching themselves to me. AAACK.

I think that we are all a little "too comfortable" being unpleasant or ignoring each other. It's the little things, I tell ya.

VOTE!!

United States citizens remember to vote today!! Remember socialism does NOT work. Take a look at Greece, they are broke. Take a look at France they are rioting--only because they have to work 2 more years before retirement and they have a low retirement age. Take a look at history. Why do we think that those in power are honest? Some are not.

Socialism only works for those in power and not everyone is a friend to those in power.

Proverbs 26 states that even the sluggard becomes so lazy that they cannot lift their own hand to their mouth to eat (I took the liberty of paraphrasing that from the NIV). Do not become so lazy that you won't work and you need government to provide everything for you. Taxes must come from somewhere. Free is not free.

Yesterday a Federal judge in Arizona ruled that it is illegal to request identification when voting. Question: How do you obtain a semi-honest ballot when you have not correctly identified people who are voting? Do you really believe that everyone is going to be honest about this? People have already proven throughout history that they are not honest and there needs to be a checks and balances approach to keep some semblance of honesty present.

There goes democracy right down the toilet.

So VOTE, VOTE, VOTE and don't allow ignorance to prevail!!

WoollyWormhead Mystery Hats...

started these last night.
Hat A is the yellow. this is supposed to be fingering weight I am using sock and fingering and a smaller needle. I am knitting one size up from the smallest size. Since I do not know hats I really hope this turns out.

Hat B is the brown. I am using worsted weight and the needle both correct for this one. Also knitting one size up from smallest size. Supposedly this would be the correct choice. Although anytime I have made a hat its always too big.

My head is 21.5 inches and supposedly you want 3-4 inches negative ease. Meaning you want your hat to turn out that much smaller than your head. cross fingers and hope.

Fishy fish...

My best friend and her guy always dress up and go to a costume Halloween party. Her guy really gets into the make up and artistry of it all. He likes to create costumes to wear so that they are not recognizable. Here are their costumes for this year. They took gummy worms to hand out to people.

22 Leaves.

22 Leaves is now complete. It turned out great. I knit it in white Donegal (which means there are pieces of different coloured fabric/yarn woven into the yarn) and then Kool-aid dyed. 3 black cherry, 1 berry blue. I just love the Kool-aid dyeing method. Very easy, very cost effective, and the dye is slurped up in 20 min and you are done. Also, there are no poisons to worry about or keeping cooking pots/utensils separate. I have also yet to have anything run. I do always check it.
