Hooray, done and on time too. It is bittersweet. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to see G in so many of the pictures. It's painful and makes me tear up. My favorite picture of all time is with KK with her bright dyed red hair and G. It's difficult to know the extreme pain he was in at that moment and to loose him just 6 months later is still upsetting. Everyone touches that picture so lovingly on the quilt. I wonder if they realize they are even doing it. Such a relief that its completed. KK tells me everyday how amazing it is. It really is a great process to learn. I'm glad I did it although I do not believe I will be doing another.
I have had an idea to obtain fabric paint and place the cat and dog's paws in it and then onto the quilt. Which I may still do.
