Dear Friend... I had no idea...

what I was talking about.  Things have gotten even more cruel.

Let me tell you a true story.  After a snowstorm, The Company has what is called MATS - maintenance after the storm.  We have an outdoor wash bay where all the good little workers wash their tandems.  This used to consist of mostly just me.  I am not kidding about that.  All of a sudden, for some unknown to me reason the guys now have a sudden desire to wash their equipment and take care of it.  I've been here for seven long years and have not seen this behavior in others . Especially P69.

Yesterday, P37-one tandem, P69-two tandems and P07-one tandem all used the outdoor wash bay.  

Today, I wanted to use the wash bay even though this is going on the second full week and the trucks to my patrol should have been washed a week ago but weren't because I was off and the reason why it didn't get done.

Anyway, today I returned back to the shed to find P69 put their semi-tractor trailer in the way of the wash bay, not using the wash bay and preventing anyone from using it.  

I drove my one-ton up to P69 TMII (SE) and requested that he move his semi so that I could wash my trucks.  (SE) promptly informed me that I was no longer allowed to use the wash bay to wash any equipment and that from now on I would have to go across town to the Bijou shed to use their wash bay and that he had his semi where it was so that he could wash it.  That he (SE) was now the "top dog around here and that I had to do as he said and did I need an email to that effect?" I informed him that, that did not make any sense.  That I saw several patrols including his own use the outdoor wash bay to wash their tandems.  He informed me that his guys did not use the wash bay at all at Commercial on Wed.  I said I watched them use it.  He informed me I was wrong.  I informed him that none of this made any sense. He then informed me that it didn't make any sense to bring down the vac truck everytime I want to wash trucks.  UMMM, that's exactly what we have to do anyway.  And I informed him that I'm not trained on it but that's what I would do since that is what is going to happen anyway.  I am so confused by this man not making any sense and he kept talking over me informing me it was nice "dancing" with me. What does that comment even mean??? He then went and moved his semi.  Which made no sense.  I spoke to others at the shed and asked them if they knew that we could no longer use the outdoor wash bay.  They all said no.  (RL) went and spoke to (SE) and (SE) said he only made it as a suggestion that I go over to Bijou, which is a lie.

INTERIM COMMENT: I had no idea that (SE) would make good on his threat that he has been bragging about for the past seven years of getting me to quit.  Nor did I have any idea how much (SA) kept senseless gaslighting (which happened later) from happening.

So I wrote an email, following my chain of command to my TMIII (CC) and I courtesy copied (DW) as that is who is (SE)'s boss.  (DW) came over right away and spoke to (SE). I could tell by (SE) body language that (SE) was lying and stating that he only made a suggestion.  What bullshit.  Suggestion my ass.  (SE) also claims my conversation of "top dog" and "dancing" references never happened.  Plus I don't even know what the "dancing" comment means.  I do NOT speak like that nor would I ever think of using those types of words.  It's scary here for me now as The Company likes to protect men like this and will protect them no matter what.

These men are weird here.  I never thought I'd say I miss Region1.  I miss R1. At least they never sabotoge my truck nor gaslight me.  Its  a waste of their time and they had better things to do.  Obviouly R2 does not.

It happened.

It's ridiculous.

Dear Friend... this is such a cruel cruel world...

 I am speechless about how I am treated here at work.  The more isolated they can keep me the better.  My TMII, (SA), is supposedly retiring (YAY!!!!!!) on Wednesday, Nov 30, 2022.  Let me tell you, for his last hurrah! He has placed me on snowshift with NO SNOW... Yep, NO SNOW.  In fact, I cannot emphasize how much there isn't of NO SNOW there is here right now.

I definitely have PTSD from these people (the company).  They act like The Company is some super secret rocket science facility that needs protecting at all costs.  They have no idea how much of my life has been dealing with passive aggressive relatives that what they (the company) do is insignificant compared to what I have endured and still endure all my life.  It's laughable.  In fact, I had a friend inform me that what I endure cannot be true.  This stuff is so idiotic that people think I make this shit up!

The true evil depths that these suppose-ed "Christians" go to is unbelievable.  In fact, I'm having a hard time typing right now because of all the emotions that run through me because of tonight (I feel dead inside. when will God take me away from the insanity??).  Anyway, (SA) didn't even have the decency to inform me that I was on my own tonight.  What a jerk.  He lies to me and says the other patrols "changed their plans."  What a liar.  I cannot wait for him to retire.  There were no other plans. (SA) knows it, I know it, everyone knows it.

I have so many lunch bets placed that he wouldn't retire I practically owe the whole area a lunch.  But who would leave a job that they only have to work about 10 days at, get paid 61K, and stand at the shop door and smoke cigarettes' all day, drive around in the one-ton so much that you put 26K in miles on it each year when the normal miles for these vehicles is 13K at the most.  (SA) is so lazy that he can't even put diesel fuel in it. He purposely leaves it for me or (RW).  

(SA) has this deep voice like that Warner Bros cartoon rooster. "I say, I say, we will be out when there is a snowflake out (and even when there is not, Ugh).  Yet, (SA) did not call snowshift last week when it was snowing.  The more contradic(dick)tory these guys can be here the happier they are.  And they pretend they don't even know what I am talking about.  These guys take gaslighting to the extreme here. and it causes extreme mental anguish.  its like a horror tale gone really bad.

Dear Friend...Abortion Supreme Court fallout...

 how ironic is it that the idiotic Health Care Center took this "right" to the US Supreme Court and lost? 

I thought to myself, something is awful, awful fishy here.

What's that you say?  Why, why would anyone challenge this with a Conservative Court in power? 

 Well...ironically the "health care" center arrogantly took this "right" to the Supreme Court, again, because they wanted to perform abortions after the allowed 15 weeks, and also after birth, which in my mind is no longer an abortion but murder.  But what do I know, eh?  FYI abortions are only allowed up to a certain week, which is 15, and then not after that.  This health care center wanted to perform abortions up to 22 weeks and also after birth.  There is one exception and that is the health of the mother.

Really?  You couldn't be happy with 15 weeks? What the hell?  and now look at the mess this healthcare center has placed everyone.  Why doesn't anyone mention that little tidbit?  

It's a crazy world out there.

Dear Friend...Covid 19 should be called Wuhan Flu

Dear Friend,

I've been researching our pandemic and past flues (is that the plural of flu?) Anyway,  Covid was present in 1911 and 1943-ish to 1945-ish.  It takes 2 and a half years to cycle out if you don't panic and shut everything down.  And all flues have been named after the place they originated. The only incorrect naming of a flu happened with the Spanish Flu. The reason it's called the Spanish Flu is because they were the only ones reporting on this type of flu because during this time a world war was going on and the Allied Forces did not want the enemy to know about how many deaths they had from this flu.  Also, the enemy forces did same.  Ironically, this flu came from... wait for it...yep, China.

Moving on.

Interesting thing, in the past there was high pressure to always, always wash your hands.  Because a simple illness was a very dangerous thing.  I remember as a child coming in from the playground and one of my teachers would take us all to the bathroom and each of us would have to wash our hands before returning to class.  Perhaps that teacher "knew" something?  In reality, one of the children was brave enough to ask.  And she replied that her dad was a doctor and that he expected her to become a doctor and when she told him she wanted to teach elementary children he got really upset because children carry lots of disease, and informed her that the only way that he would pay for her education was if she promised to do this every time.  So she promised and kept her promise.  Interesting, eh?

You don't need a vaccination, in fact, all the people at my work that are vaccinated have gotten this flu at least twice and up to 5 times.  Those of us not vaccinated only a tiny handful have gotten it.  Keep in mind I am not a doctor and you should always consult a physician when ill.

Here's my suggestions:

1. wash your hands

2. wash your hands

3. wash your hands

4. clean everything you touch with a bleach wipe on a daily basis.  and yes, it must be bleach and on a daily basis.

The people I know do not clean everything on a daily basis. Why? Because that takes effort and nobody likes to do anything that takes effort.

Secret, shh don't tell anyone...

5 Tonic water - once per day, one ounce.  Too much tonic water is not a good thing so only an ounce.  It has quinine in it and quinine can cause temporary blindness if you take too much. Fun fact: quinine is the cure for the common cold and flu - Covid is a type of flu.

6. Neti pots are just as effective (75%) as a vaccination. I love my neti pot.

Dear Friend... Pueblo HQ - the simplified rest of the story...

 Hello,  I was reading prior posts and felt that if it was me reading this blog I would want to know what happened next on the Pueblo HQ issue.

Well friend, it's not as good or as hopeful as it should have been.  In fact, things got worse.

first, yep, the investigation happened.  Unfortunately, HR was confused on the legalities of things, namely how to keep things confidential.  HR-SB informed our Ltc Ops, word for word what everyone said, which BTW is illegal (total breach of employee privacy laws) on her part.  Here's the hysterically laughable part, she got a promotion to a more sensitive job with the Dept of Labor and gets paid more money. OMG!!! is there a God out there? Sometimes I wonder.  And if there isn't a god, wouldn't her evil manifestation be rewarded with evil.  That's not what I see happening.

I was later pulled into my "real boss's" office for.... wait for it... cussing.  OMG, you would not believe the filthy filthy mouths around here and I said one "ass hole" and get pulled into the office for a write up.  I did ask my "real boss" I hope you're doing this with everyone.  He said yes they were. but NO THEY DIDN'T.  HR-KG was part of that set up.  I have since learned she has moved on herself.  

Anywhoooo, I digress.  The investigation happened, big whoop.  I totally get the phrase, "Much Ado About Nothing" because that happens around here ALL THE TIME. sad that, unless you have a target on your back like myself, which means I can NEVER let my guard down, NEVER, and my DD says I have PTSD from it.

Anyway, HR-SB, Ltc Ops, 69TMII, TMIII-2, Mean Admin and several others went to Castle Rock in Aug of 2019 and got smashing drunk (several complaints were made against them by others in the hotel) and this is where HR-SB made fun of all of us regarding the wasteful investigation that happened. Being that drunk and causing that much offense should be a fireable in itself. Which was recently for some city workers.  But isn't for these people because they are (insert your own words here).

Anyway, long story short, I've been in and out of the "office" for ridiculous reasons for the past 5 years, ie, they've been trying to fire me since I got down here.  Talk about harassment.  And now we have to deal with socialism of "equity" at work.  Keep in mind "equity" is someone else decides what's good for me.  Sorry, but that is TOTALLY OFFENSIVE to me.  I will decide not some hateful co-worker who abuses their power what is good for me.

Cheers and beware the "new socialism" that takes away ALL of your rights.

Dear Friend - snow day in May

How cool it that?  May 19 to 20th - 12 inches of snow in most of the areas around me and it was 88 degrees the day before.  I love this state.  Almost a best day ever category.  I will say after working the nightshift it was difficult to drive home because of all the tree limbs down from the snow being so heavy, not to mention all the water from the snow melt. I love the snow and we were about to burn up and with so many people being careless with those stupid personal burners at home it made this a very dangerous place to be.

In fact, one guy dumped the ash from one along his back fence and caused a horrible fire inside the eastern part of the city.  I bet he'll be surprised when he gets the bill for all the emergency workers and equipment used to stop the fire. Because unless you die, you get charged for your stupidity.  Something I didn't know until I started working for The Company.

Dear Friend - best day ever

Hello, it's been awhile...

 I was recently reflecting on "the best day ever" in my life and then what would it be for others. 

What would it be for you? Would it be the day you got married? divorced? 

or the birth of a child? 

 the day you learned to play an instrument? 

 riding a horse?

 purchasing your first home? 

 starting a business? 

 starting a new job? dream job if you're lucky. 

 listening to music? 

creating music? 

 making cool stuff? whether it be artwork, metal work, glass work, textiles? 

 a concert? 

I went to Bruce Springstein's Born in the USA tour and attended the stop in Denver (1980's). My brother waited overnight in line to purchase tickets. It was realy cold and they took their sleeping bags, lawn chairs and alcohol and made a party of it. Is that even available anymore, waiting overnight in line for tickets (with alcohol?) now that everything is done online?

 I work with the homeless at times and I wonder what would their best day ever be like? a warm coffee? a safe place to sleep? 

 What would your best day ever be like? Is it epic or is it simple?
