Proverbs 15:24-26
24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent
to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.
25 The Lord tears down the house of the proud,
but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.
26 The Lord detests the thoughts of the wicked,
but gracious words are pure in his sight.
Our Lord Your God holds a special place in his thoughts for widows. There is constant instruction that they be taken care of. Ruth is all about this as she takes care of her mother-in-law as she and her MIL are both widowed.
Verse 26: is a great reminder to watch my thoughts and to be gracious in my wording. Always good.
