Proverbs in a Year...May 8.

Proverbs 14:30-31

30 A heart at peace gives life to the body,
but envy rots the bones.

31 Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker,
but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

I really like in verse 30 that it states that "envy rots the bones." Its so very dramatic and catches your attention.
So true isn't it???

I also like verse 31 as it helps to remind us to show kindness to the poor as they are always with us. I hope that you can do something for them when you are able.
