Proverbs 15:27-28
27 The greedy bring ruin to their households,
but the one who hates bribes will live.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs its answers,
but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.
Makes a person think, doesn't it?? Verse 27 speaks for itself and reminds me of our government. Verse 28 reminds me to think before I speak and to speak in a positive manner to others even when the subject may be an uncomfortable one. No manipulation games, no guilt trips; just the right words and tone.
